I have to admit, I didn't know what a Gap was. But I just found out that it means Cumberland Gap! When I hear Gap I think of the clothing store or The Gap Band from the 70's.
Rhonda is the creator of Quilter in the Gap. I've been following her blog for a while now. She has a 2012 Finish-a-Long going on for the entire year to encourage you to finish up those projects that are just sitting there. Click the image below for more details.
I am totally lovin' this funky block. I love wonky blocks that are simple and this is SIMPLE! And I love the name, Shoo Fly! The color combinations are endless. Leanne is guest blogging the below tutorial at Quilter in the Gap blog. Leann's blog is She Can Quilt. Check out her blog & tutorials. I'm a new follower to the She Can Quilt blog.
I love this block too! Those colours are fresh and awesome!! Hope you don't mind if I post it on my pinterest board for future reference - would make a sweet baby quilt!!

ReplyDeleteI certainly don't mind and don't think the creator will mind either. Thanks for stopping by.
