More great crafts, found in linky parties!

This cool looking wreath is by KraftyKat76.  You will be totally shocked to see what it's made from!  What a great way to re-purpose & recycle!  She was spotted at the Saturday Spotlight linky party by Craft Envy.

Like Rainbows?  Me too!  Have empty jars just screaming to being re-purposed?  Make your own luminaries or vases with this tutorial by Creativy My Passion.  I found this project at the Saturday Spotlight linky party hosted by Craft Envy.

Having a Birthday part at home & need a cool wreath?  Try this, made with balloons!  It's by 3 Little Chicks and was seen at the Sundae Scoop linky party by I Heart Naptime.  Click the image below to see how to make it:

Have way too many wine bottle corks on hand and don't want to throw them away because they are so pretty or have sentimental value?  Make a Backsplash!  This is by Pandora's Box and was seen at the Sundae Scoop linky party by I Heart Naptime.  Click the image below:

Love Rainbows & those Icee-Pops?  Make a slushy drink for a party!  Easy Peasy!  This is by Ramblings from the Sunshine State and was seen at the Sundae Scoop linky party by I Heart Naptime.  Click the image below to make your own:

We all know that eggs are healthy.  I myself loved hard boiled eggs.  This is a creative way to get your kids to eat more eggs by turning them into shapes they like!  This is by Live in the Thrify Lane, seen at the Sundae Scoop linky party by I Heart Naptime.

Here is another variation of a Birthday Wreath made with ribbon & balloons!  This is by Landee See, Landee Do, seen also at the Sundae Scoop linky party hosted by I Heart Naptime.

More great finds from linky parties!

Spunky Junky has another great tutorial that I found at the Show Off your Stuff linky party by Fireflies & Jellybeans.  Click the image below to see how to make these:

Here is a great tutorial by Skurin on how to make your own suet blocks.  Click the image if you want to learn to feed your feathered friends homemade goodies.

Here is a really cool paper star you can make with scrapbooking paper or any other decorated paper you have on hand.  It's by The Lovely Residence and I found it at the Friday Flair linky party by Whipper Berry.  Click the image to see how to make it.

Modern Wivelyhood made this awesome wreath after she saw it at the Pottery Barn and was not able to buy it because it was a display piece.  It was seen at the Craft Soiree linky party at Katie's Nesting Spot.  Click the image to see the entire post.

Ribbon Organizer - Tutorial by Spunky Junky

Recently until I gave away all my ribbons, I was stumped on how to organize them without them rolling out by themselves.  I found this great idea in a linky party.  It's by Spunky Junky and the linky party was Show Off your Stuff by Fireflies & JellyBeans.

Click the image below to see how she put this together.

Fab Fabric Friday - Week 1

I decided that since I don't have much to post to my blog, unlike others, I would start posting an awesome fabric collection each Friday that I really like.

This would be awesome for a Mother's Day Quilt.  Purple seems to be a favorite color amongst moms, especially mine.  I can even see some pillows & curtains made with this fabric as well.

Dr. Suess Minky Blankets

I made these for 2 little boys.  I just wanted to share.

I'm linked up to these parties:

How to Create a "Grab My Blog" Button (VERY EASY)

Have you noticed that grab buttons are everywhere these days? Grab buttons are images usually intended for use in a blog's sidebar that link to another site or blog. In short- it's an ad. Grab buttons are the ultimate way to show your support and to spread the word about something you dig. Here's an example of my own spiffy grab button which you may, of course, grab (wink wink)...

Now how do YOU get one? Well, I'll tell ya!

1. Choose the image you'd like to use as your button. I'd make it no bigger than 200 pixels wide so it fits on the average sidebar.
2. Upload your cool new button to the image hosting site of your choice. (I use Photobucket, but it doesn't matter.)
3. In another tab, log into your Blogger account and go to the Page Elements page. Click on "Add a Gadget" and select HTML/JavaScript
4. Copy and paste the following code in the text area:

5. In Photobucket (or wherever you chose to store your button), copy the URL or direct link and paste it in both places where the code says YOUR BUTTON LOCATION.
6. Replace the words YOUR BLOG ADDRESS with...your blog address. :)
7. You can change the size of the box below your button by adjusting the numbers 4 (rows) and 22 (columns). You don't have to, but I just thought I'd let you know.
8. Build your blogging empire!
