Every car I ever drove was a stick, until I had my son and bought a "Minivan" or, "Mommy Mobile". Wow, how life changes. For the better, of course. ;->
ReplyDeleteI prefer a stick shift - I just feel more in control.
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since I drove a stick it would probably be fun to try it again but I do prefer
ReplyDeletean automatic. Much easier on the hills.
Automatic. I hate stick shifts. To much to think about.
ReplyDeleteI learned how to drive with a stick shift and I know that stick shifts are better than automatic. But, since I am deaf, I had to learn by feel. And, when I unintentionally wore out a clutch on my last stick shift, I decided automatics is better for me and have been driving them ever since..
ReplyDeleteAutomatics for everyday driving, but stick shift is fun every once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteAutomatic, although I learned to drive with a stick shift. It's good to know how ;-) Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have an HHR and it is a stick shift. I love driving it. Prefer automatic but drove stick many years before there was ever an automatic. LOL Thanks Missy KoolBeenz!
ReplyDeleteLast stick shift I drove was a VW beetle when I was in college (a few years ago!) I now drive an automatic. It's a lot better on steep
ReplyDeletehills and in traffic.
I can't imagine driving anything but an automatic!
ReplyDeleteI drive stick. First a bug, then a rabbit, and now a 1991 honda civic that's still going strong (we got it in 95)
ReplyDeleteI've driven automatics too, but I find the sticks peppier.
I have never owned or driven anything but an automatic.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely givaway....I have a plan to make something with this line. =) Someday.
ReplyDeleteI like Stick...but automatic is easier. =)
Thank you.
I prefer stick shift...except on the days I have to drive through the city! Thanks for a lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteStick shift! (But I'm European so..) I never forget the face of that Hertz guy when we picked up our car and I got in behind the wheel. He anxiously looked at my husband and said: it's a stick car does she know how to drive it?
ReplyDeleteI much prefer a stick shift! Just taught my daughter how to drive one, too! :)
ReplyDeleteOh it had best be automatic if we wish for the car to survive. I do understand the concept, but I have horrible shoulders, and we would rather not put them through the rigors of the shifting, nor the gears of the grinding.. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI love a stick shift because they are more fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm comfortable driving either stick or automatic. I love the feel of a stick for moving around quickly, but the automatic is just so darn easy and handy in stop & go traffic.

Such a unique questions! I haven't drove a stick shift in years. Would be fun to do that again!
ReplyDeleteI have an automactic right now but love driving a stick shift!

ReplyDeleteI drive a stick, but I fear the day is coming where my knees will no longer allow it.

ReplyDeleteFawn
I drove the bmw till we outgrew it & bought a minivan. I love it!:)
ReplyDeleteI've driven an automatic for the last 30 years.
ReplyDeleteAutomatic! I ruined my friends truck when I tried to learn stick shift. Thankfully he is a mechanic and could fix it easily, but he never offered to teach me again. Go figure.

ReplyDeleteI drive an automatic but miss a stick shift every once in a while :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have a clue how to drive an automatic! We hardly have them in the UK. We all just drive manual (stick) cars!
ReplyDeleteI drive a stick, I don't like driving automatics, I find I don't have to pay as much attention which makes for dangerous driving! Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! I learned to drive in a VW bug that was a stick. It was a fun little car, but an automatic is way easier to drive especially in the winter!
ReplyDeleteI'm a sissy and I have only driven automatic. Except the first time my dad let me drive on a back road in his 84 VW Rabbit. I tried to start it going uphill. Needless to say, that was impossible for someone who had NEVER DRIVEN BEFORE. haha
ReplyDeleteI drive an automatic, stick shifts are scary! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have much of a choice as I don't know how to drive stick, but I'd like to--it'd just be so much cooler when I pass someone to kick it into a higher gear :)

ReplyDeleteI prefer an automatic, much easier!
ReplyDeleteAutomatic :P
ReplyDeleteStick shift. Never drove automatic myself, but I was driving as a passenger in an automatic car. Don't like te way how the gears change. Prefer to have control over my car.
ReplyDeleteAutomatic for me. I drove my boyfriend's stick shift a little bit in college and managed to get it stuck between gears, which he said should be impossible to do. I did it at least twice. He married me anyway, but now we only have automatics.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how to drive a stick shift, so definitely automatic.
ReplyDeleteHa! I drive an automatic. I feel like it's easier with little kids since I'm always handing something into the back seat.
ReplyDeleteI drive an automatic.
ReplyDeleteI drive automatic. I've never done stick shift.
ReplyDeleteAutomatic, please!
ReplyDeleteoh I don't have a driving licence at all, can u believe it?! :)
ReplyDeleteauto all the way!
ReplyDeleteWe have 5 vehicles and 4 are stick and one is automatic, mine! I don't mind driving stick, just not in bumber to bumber traffic, kills my knee on the clutch. I learned to drive stick on a '60 Corvette with my dad. got to drive that car for a whole summer in the 80's
ReplyDeleteI always had a stick shift, and when I moved to the city I got an automatic, a big improvement in traffic!

I am an automatic girl.
ReplyDeleteAutomatic. Unless I ever get a Lamborghini.
ReplyDeleteI drive automatic...but if someone was dying and the only car available was a manual, I could make it work =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
My first 3 cars were manual/ stick shift and I miss driving them! I wanted to get one when I got my new car. We test drove one, but with 2 small boys my husband (a cop) said I had enough distractions to deal with. :)

ReplyDeleteGood question! I have always been a fan of the stick shift, but a few years ago we upgraded to a bigger car (to accommodate for our growing family) and it is not a stick shift. I love how smooth it is!

ReplyDeleteAUTOMATIC for sure! My dad tried to teach me how to drive his manual once and I almost drove into the swing set. I gave up.
ReplyDeleteI learnt on a manual car (stick) but now drive an automatic. Hill starts can be a pain in a manual, but you have control over shifting gears.

ReplyDeleteI don't drive! I made the decision years ago, much to everyone elses horror! I figured there were enough cars on the road without adding one more!
ReplyDeleteAutomatic, only because that is all I have ever driven. My husband keeps trying to get me to learn in his jeep, but I have no confidence and feel like I am going to get into a wreck.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely an automatic.
ReplyDeletersgrandinetti@yahoo(DOT)com
I can drive either without any issues. I refuse to drive a "Sportronic" because a stick-shift w/o a clutch is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI have had both type of vehicles and living in Austin with its terrible traffic jams I am very glad to have an automatic now.
ReplyDeleteI've only driven automatic, but my boyfriend has promised to teach me to drive stick.
ReplyDeletemichaelacking(at)gmail(dot)com
Definitely automatic. I am kind of a nervous driver anyway-don't need one more thing to worry about!!
