Hey Yall! Sometimes I sponsor my own GiveAways and have a question for yall. In the future when I give away fabric, would you rather have a Fat Quarter Bundle OR me list several fabric pictures in a collection (which are already color coordinated for those wondering) and you pick and choose which fabrics you want creating your own bundle equaling a specific amount that I'm offering? (I.E. Let's say I am giving away 2 total yards of fabric. You can select 2 yds of the same fabric, 1 yd each of 2 different fabrics, (4) different 1/2 yd pieces, etc...............mixing and matching to create your own bundle). I hope this make sense.
Please chime in and give me some idea of what yall prefer.
I personally would go with creating my own bundle but wanted to see what yall would say.
I can't match to save my life. I love bundles that are already color coordinated. Sad I know. I'm interested to find out which way this will go. Hope you and your family have wonderful Holiday. ;-> Toni Anne
ReplyDeleteThat would be great! I like the idea of creating my own bundle. Thanks for your generosity.
ReplyDeleteWhatever works for you, works for me!
ReplyDeleteI guess that's not a fair answer? I'll pick!
DeleteWhat a fun idea...I'd love to be able to pick and choose my own bundle.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours :o)
I'm with tpott.. I can't match to save my life either so I really like bundles.
ReplyDeleteI often want to concentrate on one colorway of a fabric line, so I would love to pick and choose my prints and quantites. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove creating my own bundle as well! It's most of the fun!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to pick my own.
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer you to choose! it can be so hard to select via a computer screen!
ReplyDeleteLol Duff, I think you mean "who cares? We just love free fabric"
ReplyDeleteFor me I like to pick because some FQ bundles I love 80% of the collection, but will never use the other 20%.
I like the bundles already put together - YOU pick!
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that the fabric is already matched colorwise.. that is the great part for me. Well, that and the fact that you are having a giveaway LOL. I appreciate both so very much. Oh, and variety is the spice of life, so a bit of both might be nice :)
ReplyDeleteI love the matched bundles. But why not allow for one or two fabric swaps if the winner likes it better?
ReplyDeletethat's a nice idea ... for be able to make that choice! but i like the offered bundle a bunch, too; it stretches my imagination to use it. how about sometimes one way, sometimea the other?
ReplyDeleteI always like your bundles. I'm fine with having you pick. That way, I might try something I'd never pick myself. I can also pick, but it's fun to try something outside my own box. =)
ReplyDeleteI would go with pick your own bundle :) Sometimes you might just want 2 yards of all one color for a cool project... or there may be some in the bundle that you don't care for... but, in the end, free fabric is free fabric :) can't complain about it :) I make larger quilts usually, so I always have to add something anyway.. thanks for all the giveaways!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to pick my own combination. Thanks for the many giveaways! Merry Christmas to you and your family
ReplyDeleteI am always grateful for anything you want to give. It would be fun to pick my own bundle I think. Not that I ever win fabric...
ReplyDeleteI love it when someone else picks because you end up with something you may never have chosen yourself but it opens a new door!
ReplyDeleteCreating my own bundle!
ReplyDeleteI kind of agree with Kathy Mackie above...you choose for me...that way I get something I wouldn't have thought of myself! And in my case...I tend to stick with the norm...so someone tossing something unusual (to me) my way just gives me inspiration and that "oh yeah!" moment!

I really enjoy when the person offering the giveaway picks a bundle of fabrics to offer. It forces me to broaden my choices and try fabric styles that are different.
ReplyDeletea bundle is easier for me though selecting yardage has it's advantages too
ReplyDeleteso, I will go with the flow of what you decide
