When I come across a cool blog I want to start following, I follow via GFC and then look for the RSS Feed logo/button to follow that way as well. Sometimes I don't see the blog's RSS Feed subscribe button. So what do I do? I use Mozilla Firefox and am able to click on "Bookmarks" then 2 lines down I see "Subscribe to this Feed". This is how I get around someone not advertising an RSS Feed on their blog.
I hope this helps anyone out there having the same problem.
If you use Google Reader, most of the time, copying the URL of the blog and then pasting it into the "subscribe" field on Google Reader works. I'm a Chrome user and for some odd reason, a lot of RSS subscribe links blow up (bring up garbage).
