ReplyDeleteI didn't participate in school clubs, just a couple outside of school (Finnish-American Young People and Lutheran Youth). This is a beautiful tunic, and I'd love to make it!
ReplyDeleteOMG this is so embarrassing. There was only one...BOEC...Business Office Education Club. We used to compete in things like typing and business writing, interviewing, etc. And I partied a lot!!!

ReplyDeleteI was in the Drama Group and the Music Group. It became interesting when the practices clashed but I usually opted to go to Drama as I was stuck with a clarinet in Music Group and we just weren't compatible!

ReplyDeleteWhen I went to highschool in Holland, there weren't any clubs in school. But I did play volleyball. During my exchange year in the States I was part of the International Club and Yearbook. I also joined the swimteam and tennisteam. Next summer will be our 20yr reunion and I already planned my vacation to the States.

I thought it was an adventure back then don't know if I would do it again. I wanted to be in band but my mom said my insturment would get stolen so she sold it. ReplyDeleteI don't know if I can remember back that far. I was a cheerleader, in the flag corps, choir, solo, all girl barber shop quartet, prom queen twice, FFA sweetheart 4 times, drama club, student council, homecoming queen twice, court warming queen 3 times and all around "bad girl club", 4-H, summer tea club (the old ladies taught us etiquette), junior rodeo queen, teen rodeo queen, barrel racing queen 5 times. I really think that is all and that is enough I think. I had a lot of fun as a kid back in the day.
