Featured Crafter - Make it, Love it blog (Fabric Storage Boxes TUTORIAL)

I imagine that most of yall have heard of the Make it, Love it blog.  If you haven't, you are missing out on a great blog.  It's run by Ashley who is super busy with 3 kids.  There is so much going on with her blog, you could be there browsing for days!

I love fabric storage boxes but can't seem to find the right fabrics to match my decor.  I bet some of yall have or had the same problem.  These nifty boxes are quite handy and can be used in the home, the garage, in the classroom, sewing room, car, work and more places that I can't even think of right now.  I'm adding these bad boys to my To Do List of future projects.  I showed the blog post to my twin and she liked the idea so we might make some for her everyday needs here at her house (she has 3 small children that are ages 3, 2 & 1!  I'm visiting her in Saudi Arabia for a few months).

The finished size of these beauties are 9.5" tall x 11" wide x 8.5" deep making them very practical for almost any use.  To learn how Ashley makes hers, click the image below.

  1. I love Ashley's blog and I made most of this years Christmas gifts from her tutorials! I made each of my nieces and nephews a fabric box and put their stocking stuffers inside! They love them- word to the wise though- the plastic canvas is not built for "Rough- boy" play! next time I make them I will use sturdier stuff! Ashley's tutorial was so easy, I whipped all five boxes up on Christmas eve and made a rag doll as well!
